About Widescope.net

Widescope was formed in 1998 offering web design to small businesses in the Northumberland area. In 1999 the company was enlisted to create an online booking system for Newcastle University. As a result we developed a system that was used by 10 Universities nationwide, including Cambridge and Manchester as well as by various regional NPQH centres. Through the development of such systems a number of external webdesigners have since joined affiliate schemes with the company and as a result over the past two years Widescope and its staff have trebled in size. With experience ranging from Web Design, Marketing and Relational Database Design to over 15 years systems building and networking maintenance our team now has a balance that allows us to work exactly how we want. With our customers interests a priority.

widescope webdesign - Widescope Internet About Us
What can a website from Widescope do for you and your business?

From property portals to ecommerce systems we work with the client to ensure they are aware of all aspects of not only their e-strategy but also how technology can change the way they work.

As a business we understand the need to both save money and build relationships.
An online presence allows our customers to do both. Your website is an opportunity to advertise your existance without detracting from what you do best on a daily basis. When done correctly it can cut costs in advertising, save time communicating with clients and allow you to generate additional income without the need for additional staff.

Quotes, sales and general enquiries can all be generated through your site. Updated news on products or new avenues of expertise can be dispensed to people all over the world at the touch of a button. Marketing strategies can be developed based on reports from visitors to your site whilst in-house software such as our case tracking system can help you keep a step ahead of competitors night and day.

We have over 300 clients and support over 10,000 individual users. We don't just create a system and leave our clients to it, we offer support to the end user in a wide variety of formats. There is nothing worse than an unanswered query through a form on the internet or an email that doesn't get a reply. Thats why we offer telephone support so that our customers can get to us immediately if a problem occurs.

The future and Widescope Web Design

Due to our structured approach in not only web design, system development but also customer support, 2006 saw Widescope retained by a number of blue chip and mortgage broker networks. As a result our sister company, Widescope Internet, dedicated purely to SEO, Pay Per Click management and online advertising was born raising brand awareness for the companies involved and those working alongside us. 2008 has since seen Widescope Internet move further into Contact Management System development with a number of turnkey systems currently in production.

We are fanatical about the services we offer. Our goal to become not only the UK's number one broker support company but also the UK's number one web package reseller is slowly being achieved. With over 50 affiliate companies, we design, repackage and rebrand dozens of websites each month to help fellow web designers benefit from the decisions we've made and avoid the pitfalls we've found.

From small online business cards to complex interactive 100 page sites, whether a web design company just starting out or a small, medium or corporate company wanting to develop their web presence - Widescope Web Design & Widescope Internet can help. Contact us today for a free quote and free consultation.

"I love you guys! Looks great. I will email some more pics and up to date menus shortly!!"

- Paul Brett
Owner of Wakeswood Restaurant

"I commissioned Widescope designs to design and manage my web site in 2004.I chose Widescope out of several other possibilities because of their professional, helpful approach and their very competitive costing.

We worked very closely together during the conception and design of the web site, and they listened very carefully to all my ideas and requests. I frequently changed things at the last minute, but nothing was too much trouble for the Widescope team.

Once up and running, my business has gone from strength to strength as a result of the high quality and ease of use of my web site. Many of my customers frequently comment that the reason that they have chosen to contact me with a view to visiting my guest house is because they were so impressed with my web site. At least 90% of my new business is generated as a result of my web site.

Even now I am constantly changing or adding features and information to the site, and once Widescope have received my request, the changes are made quickly and effectively. They are also always on hand to respond to any ideas I have concerning my computer operation.

All in all I am greatly satisfied with the product and service that Wdescope have provided me with."

Internet maturity and sophistication has attracted the attention of well-organized malware purveyors who are now intent on using the Web to deliver viruses, spyware, Trojans, bots, rootkits, and fake security software.
