Unlike some editable website programs, Widescope Web Freedom also performs well in Search Engine Rankings, due to a number of easy to use features that the Search Engines use to base their rankings on.

You can choose the name of your page address. Some editable website systems simply give page names a number which is generated by a database, so your page names could look something like index.htl?id=1, index.html?id=2 etc.

Widescope Web Freedom actually names your page from the title it is given, or you can enter your own page name such as widescope-web-freedom.html, about-yourcompanyname.html.

This helps the Search Engines identify what your page is about by looking at the title, page address and your content.

My own website www.football-latest.com which uses the Widescope Web Freedom system has only been live since 4th January 2012, yet it is already featuring in the Google rankings among the likes of BBC, The Daily Mail and The Guardian websites.

I added a very brief Announcement, which is an easy to use built-in News article section.

It only takes a matter of minutes to login to your Control Panel, Click a couple of links and you are ready to type your article content, once you have completed click 'Save' and it is featured live on your website, ready to be viewed by your visitors and Search Engine spiders, which crawl the internet for new pages, or websites and then index in their rankings.

An Announcement I posted on 10th January was listed on the 1st page of Google, only 3 days later under the Search term of 'Cahill joins Chelsea' which is the name of the Announcement. The system automatically gave the page an address of www.football-latest.com/announcements/cahill-joins-chelsea.
