Microsoft is planning a Windows update package next Tuesday (13th December).
If you have Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7, expect to be prompted to complete the updates and the obligatory restart once the updates are installed.
The update covers 14 security bulletins for Office, Server, Media Player, Internet Explorer and the operating system itself.
Versions include:
Windows XP, Vista and 7
Office 2003, 2007 and 2010
Internet Explorer 6, 7, 8 and 9
Server 2003 and 2008
Three of the updates will be labelled Critical with the remaining 11 labelled important.
